A passion turned into a profession

HelloCab was born from a deep connection to Bayeux and Normandy.

My family’s history is closely intertwined with this region. My grandparents lived in Bayeux during World War II and witnessed the events of the D-Day landings in June 1944. My father was also born in Bayeux. I grew up listening to their stories, memories, and anecdotes. These tales fueled a passion that has stayed with me ever since: a passion for the history of the D-Day landings and Normandy itself.

Today, that passion is a natural part of my profession. Beyond simply providing transportation, I love sharing the richness of our region. During your journey, I can introduce you to the history of the places we pass, recommend must-see sites—such as museums, the D-Day landing beaches, Mont-Saint-Michel, or the most beautiful Norman villages—and offer local insights.

While I am not a licensed tour guide, I can accompany you throughout your journey as a driver-guide, making your discovery of Normandy even more enjoyable and enriching.

Furthermore, our drivers are locals who know Normandy—its history, heritage, and iconic landmarks—inside out.
